Enjoyable and unforgettable trek with the experienced! Thanks MTA and Mardi Himal ❤️ I did 5D4N Mardi Himal trek with a few friends in Apr 2024 with MTA. The four of us from Hong Kong were very well taken care since entering Pokhara. MTA (kudos to Bijay) gave us best advice of anything from equipment, flight to massage. Bijay organised our airport pickup and connecting cars so well so we could be worry-free the whole time. It’s especially important as we sometimes had miscommunications with drivers even using ride-hailing app. Our tour was customised and extended one day vs the regular 4D3N with Bijay’s help so we had more time for ascending and made it easier to reach the highest point at 4200m. Going on Mardi trek with MTA, their guide Kaji and two porters Donbadu and Natium, makes the experience 5-star! 1/ Kaji knew the trek and his guests so well. He never failed to estimate how much time we still needed and we could adjust our expectations. 2/ Kaji had best connections on the mountain (which is tremendously important), everyone doing business on the trek is like his extended family. With that our schedule was more flexible for a change. 3/ MOST IMPORTANTLY, Kaji was very observant and ensured safety of everyone. He made timely decision to save my friend from altitude sickness! My friend started to feel unwell and vomit after we reached 3,300m. Kaji tried to extend our rest time to help her recover, and in the end got Donbadu to go down with her so she could be relieved. We really appreciate that! ❤️ We’re always treated as top priority and served very well on the trek. Food and drinks are never missed, Kaji and his team were very hospitable and always checked in if we felt good for the coming trek. MTA guides all treks you can name - Poon Hill, Mardi Himal, ABC, ACT, EBC and many more lesser known ones. Definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a worry-free, safe trek in Nepal, especially if you’re first timers like us. Thanks for supporting our trekking dream! Annapurna and Mardi Himal look surreal, it’s a good story of a lifetime. <3

Everything we wanted and more! The company is excellent. This is a newer trekking company but with all the right contacts to make sure things run smoothly. We were 3 in our group. We all felt relaxed because everything was taken care of in an stress-free way. Our questions (which were many) were answered before and during the trek. The vibe is laid back and friendly. The company are also concerned that porters do not carry too much weight and everybody is treated fairly. The trek was tough for us but the guide and our porters were excellent - very patient and helpful - they were very concerned for our needs and thanks to them, we made it to base camp and it was so amazing we cannot thank them enough!

Everest Base Camp - Absolute must for your Bucket List. If you're an adventurer at heart, seeking the thrill of reaching great heights and witnessing breath-taking landscapes, or like me have a bucket list then a journey to Everest Base Camp is an absolute must. Recently, I had the incredible opportunity to embark on this unforgettable expedition with a few friends and M.T.A , I'm still buzzing with excitement from the experience. Our journey began in Kathmandu, Nepal, where after landing at the airport we were greeted by Bijay from M.T.A. and taken for a very delicious Nepalese meal. Next we flew to Lukla, a tiny airstrip nestled among the towering peaks of the Himalayas. The hair-raising flight was an adventure in itself, offering jaw-dropping views of the rugged terrain below. Here we meet our main guide Shishir along with porters to assist in carrying our packs. We then embarked on 9 day trek to Everest Base camp. As we trekked through quaint Sherpa villages and lush rhododendron forests, each step brought us closer to our ultimate goal: reaching Everest Base Camp. Along the way, we were treated to awe-inspiring vistas of snow-capped peak, sparkling glaciers and an array of different animals such as Yaks & horses, Shirhir was amazing in his knowledge of the trek, the villages and giving us advice on how best to pace ourselves to enjoy the journey. As we reached higher altitudes he was very conscious of our health and safety to ensure we were in the best possible position to reach base camp watching us closely and monitoring our oxygen levels. Reaching Everest Base Camp was a momentous occasion, even thou we were tired this soon faded as we were filled with a sense of accomplishment and wonder. Surrounded by towering giants like Everest, Lhotse, and Nuptse, we couldn't help but be humbled by the sheer magnitude of nature's grandeur. We were blessed with been able to meet with one most experienced sherpa’s who had climbed mount Everest 18 times and enjoyed a cup of Tea with him. Shirhir knowledge of the region, coupled with his warm camaraderie, made the journey all the more enjoyable. We enjoyed the hearty wide range of Sherpa meals that fuelled our bodies and warmed our souls after a long day on the trail. In the evenings after a meal, we reflected on the days excitement and ended the evening most nights with a round of cards and in bed by around 9. As I had limited time I opted to fly out by Helicopter from Gorashep. This was absolutely an amazing flight. What had taken 8 days to walk around 70KM from Lukla to Gorashep took around 8mintues to Helicopter out. I will never forget the amazing scenery on that flight out. In conclusion, my journey to Everest Base Camp was nothing short of extraordinary. It was a test of endurance, a feast for the senses, and a soul-stirring adventure that will stay with me forever. If you're searching for an experience that will challenge you, inspire you, and leave you utterly spellbound, look no further than Everest Base Camp. M.T.A , Bijay and Shirhir make the whole experience so enjoyable I have no hesitation in recommending them. Everest base camp is worth every step of the journey, it is a must to put on your bucket list.

Wonderful poonhill trekking via Ghandruk We thoroughly enjoyed trekking in Poonhill and Ghandruk village! Sadly, the weather was not favorable and we couldn’t see the mountains from Poonhill but aside from that, our experience was wonderful. Our guide Kaji was caring and went above and beyond to make our trek memorable. He organized clean and comfortable hotels with hot showers in Ulleri which was great after climbing many stairs. The early morning Poonhill hike was worth it and the Ghandruk village and museum were also intriguing. We are happy to have booked our Poonhill trek via Ghandruk village with MTA Trekking.

Ultralight Plane Flight and Sarangkot The ultralight plane flight was amazing. You can see the Himalayas from so close you can almost reach out and touch them. It's a must-do if you visit Pokhara. The guide was very experienced, so I was able to leave it to him with confidence.
